The Pricing and Revenue Management department helps us run a successful business by predicting consumer demand and setting up pricing structures.

Job overview and responsibilities

Utilize statistical models and market place knowledge to determine the most effective way to price and allocate seat inventory. This is an entry level position into the Pricing and Revenue Management Department.

  • Identify in logical groupings, the duties, responsibilities and activities for the role

  • Each grouping should represent no less than 20% of time

  • Utilize statistical models and market place knowledge to determine the most effective way to price and allocate seat inventory

  • Analyze historical and current market trends to determine appropriate authorization levels that maximize revenue

  • Conduct thorough post analysis of Revenue Management performance results at a market level to ensure goals are met and determine appropriate adjustments where necessary

  • Ensure markets are being forecasted and strategies as set forth by management are being followed

  • Communicate regularly with Field Services regarding peak/holiday operational issues and periodically visit and present to stations

Required

  • Undergraduate degree as of Dec 2017

  • Track record of outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

  • Proven ability to prioritize a range of responsibilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to apply quantitative skills and business acumen to airline industry

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Relevant work experience and airline industry exposure is a plus, but is not required

  • Strong academic performance is preferred
