Job overview and responsibilities

The position is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of all non-executive, non-union employee compensation programs, including base salary, annual or periodic incentives, long term incentives, profit sharing, job titling and level architecture, business-specific incentives and other related programs. The position provides data analysis, metrics, and subject matter expertise on market trends and best practices that support the company’s overall strategy on Total Rewards. The position will report to the Senior Manager - Compensation Consulting.

  • Support the administration of core processes and operational components of ongoing compensation programs, working with key stakeholder groups such as Payroll, Finance, IT and other HR departments. Ensure plans are in compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies

  • Gather and obtain compensation and financial data to conduct modeling, and to produce reports and key metrics that support analysis and decision making

  • Keep current on trends and market practices in order to recommend process improvements and support the overall compensation philosophy

  • Maintain the job architecture structure upon which jobs will be evaluated and benchmarked

  • Diagnose and resolve escalated issues on job titling, leveling and pay based on a consistent methodology and structure

  • Provide consultation and support to senior management and HR partners

  • Assist with special projects, adhoc requests and ongoing training and communication of the company’s compensation programs

  • Provide support for other HR and company initiatives as needed (e.g. payroll, regulatory filings, audits)


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in compensation or Human Resources

  • Ability to analyze data and produce meaningful reports and metrics

  • Strong skills in MS Office – especially Excel

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the organization

  • Ability to problem solve

  • 2 or more years of experience in Human Resources or Finance in a large organization (over 10,000 employees)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
