Come join IT Crew Operations team to build the next generation crew management system to work on a multi-year transformation strategy that is building a new foundation for crew management. In this role you will work on a fast paced team to ultimately create multiple operationally focused applications that manage real time crew operations.

As the Developer, you will have the opportunity to take on exciting challenges, champion new app dev programming standards, and lead PoC (proof of concept) agile development initiatives primarily for next gen crew management system. Participate in concept, design, build, deploy, test, release of various projects

  • Design programs to meet the goals and requirements of various projects

  • Develop and deliver code as per specifications

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing project tasks on schedule and by interacting with other developers

  • Perform research and development to evaluate emerging technologies and their potential to optimize the platform

  • Evaluate, suggest and implement third party software as needed

  • Follow IT standards and processes for all work items

  • Provide development estimates and delivery to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability

  • Work closely with different development teams


  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field required



  • Experience delivering highly scalable applications

  • Experience in core Java; J2EE Application Layer/Back-end (Hibernate; Spring; Tomcat; MySQL)

  • Experience in Design and Development of the following - Decision Table, Decision Tree, Action Rule(BRL), Technical Rule, Rule Flows, BOM and XOM, Synthetic Class, Function Task, Rule Task in in JRules / WODM / ODM

  • Hands on experience in Java and SOA architecture along with experience managing WebSphere Application Server

  • Hands on experience in designing and building Domain Models, Java Execution Models and Business Object Models for Business Rules and events Applications

  • Hands on experience in authoring, testing, publishing and deploying business rules into Decision Center - Business Console and Enterprise Console, Decision Server, Rule Execution Server (RES)

  • Hands on experience in testing and simulating rule in Decision Validation services and leveraging Decision Warehouse

  • Hands on experience in ODM API’ s

  • Demonstrable expertise in OO design and implementation

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities; Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills

  • Experience developing SaaS-based web applications using an Agile/Scrum methodology



  • 3+ years of experience in application of business rules technology

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) or ILOG JRules Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Decision Server

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing business object models and execution object models for large applications

  • 4+ years of experience in planning, testing, and acceptance of business rules applications

  • 6+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, XML, LINUX, SOA, Web Services, Weblogic


  • Experience with IBM Decision Server Insights


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
