Job overview and responsibilities
The position of Cockpit Technology Intern will allow an individual to participate in the development and implementation of new and current technology used in United Airlines flight decks.
Assist in EFB software/hardware development, real time testing of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) software/hardware on board aircraft, in-flight Wi-Fi testing, and new EFB product development.
Participation at industry related conferences and monthly Flight Standards meetings held at the United Airlines Flight Training Center.
Supporting the EFB Managers and staff as required with operational duties. These tasks support the pilot group by maintaining inventory of EFB mounts within the flight deck, EFB accessories, and EFB hardware.

Enrollment in Bachelor Degree Course in accredited Aviation, Aviation administration/management, Business Technology, or related discipline
Private Pilot License
Background in Aeronautical Sciences
Technical Skills in Microsoft Office
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Commercial Pilots License
Bachelor Degree in accredited aviation, aviation administration/management, or related discipline
Continuous Improvement/Project Management Experience
