Responsibilities:

  • Define and analyze the organizational change impacts for internal stakeholders affected by a project.

  • Assess the impact of introducing new policies, system functionality, products, procedures and network changes to current business processes.

  • Develop a versatile and comprehensive project change management strategy to meet the project's business objectives.

  • Recommend approaches to align key organizational stakeholders to the change.

  • Provide oversight and guidance to team members in the development of change strategies.

  • Partner with organizational leadership, communication, training, and business support teams to develop integrated change management activities for all target audiences.

  • Develop an integrated implementation plan that includes a focus on the behavior aspects of change.

  • Identify potential resistance areas of the affected audiences, and create mitigation plans and activities to reduce project risks.

  • Define and execute plans to measure the post-launch effectiveness of change management efforts.

  • Manage the transition from project activities to business-as-usual operations at the end of the project.

  • Utilize change project management tools to document, prioritize, and communicate activities and deliverables.

  • Perform change implementation activities according to the plan, keeping all project stakeholders fully informed of responsibilities, status, and issues.

  • Facilitate various changes planning sessions with project SMEs, leaders and managers to define the change management process of for project initiatives

  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, stakeholder assessment, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan

  • Ensure project change management activities occur on time and within budget

Education:

  • High School Graduate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, HR or other related discipline required

  • Master's degree in Business, Change Management, Communication, HR is a plus

Experience:

  • 10+ years’ with strategy and management experience, including 3 years of Project Management experience

  • 7+ years in the airline industry is a plus

  • 5+ years in the consulting industry is a plus

  • Consulting experience in human capital, change management, communications is a plus

  • Operations management experience is required

  • Experience in change management principles, methodologies and tools required

  • Prior experience implementing mid-to-large-scale business systems, initiatives or processes across functional and departmental lines is required

  • Prior experience developing integrated change management strategies for organizational change initiatives is preferred

  • Ability to identify and asses opportunities to improve the integration of existing systems with business processes preferred

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts preferred

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the overall change process; forward looking with a holistic approach required

  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools required

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal required

  • Excellent active listening skills required

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences required

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships required

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision/goal required

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics required

  • Running projects and managing teams; delivery experience driving desired business outcomes, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing solutions required

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges preferred

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle preferred
