Job overview and responsibilities

This position is responsible for the processing, implementation, enhancement, support, and maintenance for pilot pay team processing in the crew management systems. Coordinates and oversees others doing skilled work for all activities and functions related to the daily pilot pay functions. This position interacts with a cross functional staff as needed from various divisions and remote staff.

  • Oversight of all crew pay processing functions for pilot pay remaining consistent with union contracts and company policies

  • Review and analyze crew pay functions to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Research and provide guidance on pay issues while working cross functionally with Base Administration/Base Management, Legal, Labor Relations, Alpa/Teamsters Union Representatives

  • Review pay analyst work, train and provide feedback

  • Compliance with all internal/external audit requirements

  • Compliance with all internal and contractual policies

  • Accurate crew payroll processing

  • Document and maintain process mapping for all pilot pay manual and system processes

  • Regular system adhoc audit checks for pay compliance

  • Manage and handle crew pay related projects as assigned

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Pilot Crew Pay experience; minimum 5 years required

  • Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented required

  • Must be highly organized and a team player required

  • Detailed COSMOS system knowledge of how the system works and how pay is applied preferred

  • Working knowledge of CMS/LAXVM, CCS, MPS, PR, IR, On Demand and Data Warehouse preferred.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
