Job overview and responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the Managing Director of FP&A and the Sr Manager of Finance in forecasting and reporting Shared Services and United Continental Holdings’ overall financial performance.

  • Works with department FP&A teams, treasury, tax, and accounting teams to create monthly forecast and annual budget for UCH’s financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow), including corporate items such as employee incentives and taxes

  • Partners with financial systems team to enhance and expand usage of Hyperion tools and capabilities across FP&A

  • Builds financial models in support of long range planning process as well as ad-hoc scenario analysis needs

  • Supports preparation of Board of Director, Leadership Conference and monthly Officer meeting presentations

  • Creates monthly/quarterly financial reports for finance leadership and executive team

  • Performs ad-hoc financial analysis

Required

  • MBA or Master’s degree in finance or engineering related field

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products and knowledge of accounting and financial statements

  • 3 Years FP&A experience

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Three statement financial modeling experience

  • Hyperion Planning experience

  • Oracle GL experience
