Job overview and responsibilities
The Worldwide Sales Analysis - Manager will be responsible for designing, creating, and delivering the analytical structure and foundation for United’s worldwide sales department. In this role, the manager will deliver high quality worldwide executive analysis and will provide analytical support to ad hoc projects as they arise. The manager has a requirement to directly support executive level sales leadership with their analytical needs, including presenting their findings and recommendations. Lead and conduct in-depth quality analysis focusing on the worldwide sales channel portfolio and product analysis, identifying and optimizing United's growth opportunities and strategic position. The manager will leverage market intelligence and input from multiple stakeholders to create unique analysis focused on driving increased revenue, share and customer loyalty. They will present complex analyses, concepts and recommendations to a variety of audiences including senior management, United’s joint venture partner carriers, and field sales. The manager will manage International Analytical Support and Joint Venture Strategic Analysis for Senior Leadership and Field Sales. They will lead the development of customer, industry sector, competitor, and market insights. The manager will monitor and analyze account performance to identify trends, opportunities for continuous improvement, and measure sales forecasts by line of business in conjunction with revenue management. Works closely with Product Managers, Pricing Analysts and other Channel Associates and key stakeholder groups within United to ensure United is holistically well-positioned in the marketplace.

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Channel analysis, business strategy formulation, portfolio management experience
3 years in analytically oriented job
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
5 years in analytically oriented job
Agency or Corporate Travel Management experience
