Job overview and responsibilities
The APAC Corporate Program team is currently looking for a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and effectiveness, work actively together with the ACPG team in delivering high quality services to support the APAC corporate contracting process. This intern role will assist the team by managing day to day corporate related administration work, as well as to interact with various stake holders in supporting corporate contract implementation, creating reports and assisting with ad-hoc decision support.
Actively works with the sales teams and Corporate Pricing Analysts to produce legally accurate contracting documents for JV and UA Corporate Discount Agreements for United’s local and regional corporate accounts in Asia Pacific.
Ensures that the contract administration process adapts to and integrates with, the continually evolving sales processes, goals and policies.
To ensure all agreements are implemented in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
Provides first level contact to field sales for all corporate contract related issues, including those related to: Acquisition, Retention/Renewal, Re-model, Amendments, Fare Filing and IATA updates.
Creates initial contracting framework for acquisition and renewal accounts.
Updates applicable databases to accurately track contracting process.
May require work outside of normal hours when needed to meet deadlines.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Knowledge / Skills
Attention to detail required
Proficient in MS Office Suite required
PRISM Expertise preferred
Fluent in English and local native language both written and oral required
Must be at least a University or Graduate Student at the start of the internship
Must be currently enrolled full-time in Travel industry related subjects, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field involving quantitative analysis
Exposure in multi-national work environment
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Hong Kong for any employer without sponsorship
Work related travel may be required, individuals must be able to travel without any restrictions
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Students available to work for a period of 4 to 6 months full time basis are preferred
