Job overview and responsibilities

Position will be based in the Asia Pacific Region and the purpose of the position will be to facilitate performance discussions and influence decision making through building strategic relationships with Division Leaders, Local Management and Service Providers for Operations and Sales in the region. Provide the tools and support to the division Operations team to enable them to meet or exceed customer operational expectations, cargo operational goals, government regulatory guidelines, and security/safety guidelines. Support includes coaching, training, mentoring, transparency, accountability, prioritization, root cause and trend analysis, onsite support and communication. Provide the tools and support to the division Sales team to enable them to meet cargo revenue and profitability (volume/yield/cost) targets.

Position has project management responsibilities to drive continuous improvement of operational processes, cost control, reporting and metrics. Projects include facility planning, contract strategy, station start ups and transitions, technology implementation, capital procurement, and training and audit development and implementation.

  • Influence performance via internal/external cross functional teaming; facilitate and enable accountability/transparency/prioritization of cargo operational metrics to meet/exceed customer expectations; ensure regulatory, security, safety requirements met

  • Design & implement transparency/accountability tools, service level agreements and performance reports for internal and external customers

  • Root cause analysis (Service Provider and UA), trend analysis, region/station performance oversight, station visits, quarterly presentations, manage ops anomalies

  • Continuous improvement of field processes, warehouse processes, service providers processes, service level agreements, metrics, reporting and tools

  • Due to extensive coverage of the Asia Pacific Region, travel up to 50% will be required

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Ability to work and influence cross functionally

  • 5+ Years Cargo, warehouse or related operations; analytical; presentation preparation/delivery; influencing skills

  • Must be fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Hong Kong / Singapore for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
