Job overview and responsibilities

The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for initiating and planning search initiatives. The implementations include SEM, SEO as well as YouTube/Adwords. They will assist in validating organic/paid search best practices, including technical, content and linking various digital strategies to create an integrated marketing plan. They will also identify potential SEM/SEO and site search concerns and work toward solutions. Regular job attendance is required in accordance with regular schedule established for the position by the supervisor.

  • Develop comprehensive paid search strategies for United across multiple search engines and mediums

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of campaigns on an ongoing basis, present findings to leadership

  • Prepare timely and accurate performance reports for internal meetings on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis

  • Manage budgets and goals to meet and exceed expectations.

  • Work closely with other members of the Digital Marketing team as well as United Stakeholders (Marketing, Corp Comm, Social, etc). to communicate progress, performance and opportunities

  • Remain up to date on industry trends and changes

  • Perform other duties, tasks and activities as they arise

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded

Required

  • 2+ years of experience with analytics

  • 2+ years of experience working with machine learning techniques for anomalies detection

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or related field

  • Hands-on technical experience in distributed computing, machine learning, and statistics-related work

  • Proficient in using database querying tools and able to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or Microsoft TSQL

  • Be adept at juggling several projects and initiatives simultaneously through appropriate prioritization

  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis and algorithms in a clear, precise and actionable manner

  • Be familiar with one or more reporting tools – Spotfire, Tableau

  • Strong hands on experience with SAS, R or Python

  • Experienced in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to highlight patterns and relationships

  • Have hands-on experience with and extensive knowledge of anomalies detection and test design

  • Ability to be self-directed

  • Highly motivated, innovative thinker (self-starter)

  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to United States

  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
