Job overview and responsibilities

Value Creation :

  • Understand client’s business and value stream

  • Apply analytical rigor and a data driven approach to assess current state and develop alternatives

  • Accountable for selecting a technical approach that’s in line with expected benefits

  • Duties include: Develops more practical business insights

  • Designs analytic plan/develop hypotheses to test

  • Interprets results and set next steps

  • Understands limitations of analysis (what it can and cannot be used for)

  • Understands the intuition behind the numbers (i.e. does it make sense?)

Service Delivery :

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with front line employees and stakeholders

  • Propose ways to synthesize multiple and possibly divergent viewpoints into an action plan

  • Develop slides that fit into a storyline

  • Take initiative to share relevant project information with internal leadership and clients

  • Confidently and effectively communicate to Sr. Manager and Director level

  • Develop and deliver presentations aligned with CIEO standards

Project Management :

  • Understand clearly the project scope and objectives

  • Develop realistic tasks to achieve project objectives

  • Identify risks and dependencies on the proposed tasks

  • Execute to plan. Update project lead and stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Achieve the realization of expected benefits within the project timeline


  • BS Industrial Engineering

  • Demonstrates proficiency/experience with any structured programming languages/simulation (e.g. C++, SAS, Python, Simio); Excellent Communications skills

  • Highly proficient in MS Office and in statistical software (Minitab, JMP)

  • Working knowledge of project management discipline

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in Industrial Engineering

  • Excellent communication skills


  • Related discipline involving quantitative analysis with emphasis on TQM, Lean or Six Sigma

  • Green Belt from a recognized institution

  • Knowledge of simulation tools, SQL, CAD, VBA;TQM, Lean or Six Sigma

  • TQM, Lean or Six Sigma experience in industry

  • Leadership potential


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
