The Airport Operations department keeps operations at our airports running smoothly through planning, organization and supervision.

Coordinator - Airport Operations, Station Support; Denver, CO (DEN)

Job Overview and Responsibilities

Assists managers and supervisors by performing administrative activities and functions associated with scheduling, payroll, accounts payable, report preparation and wellness administration associated with office and personnel functions in a Station Operations office.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of advance work schedules for station operation functions utilizing computer generated volume data and staffing guidelines

  • Develop and maintain statistical data and prepares information and reports pertaining to budgets, office forecasts, operations and performance

  • Makes local purchases within authorized limits, maintains office supplies and processes local statements for payment

  • Perform personnel-related duties including filing, process payroll in accordance with provisions of union agreements and company policy

  • Provide support for management by coordination and preparation of reports associated with personnel functions

Required

  • High School diploma, GED or the educational equivalent of these (from another country)

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Effective verbal, written communication as well as interpersonal skills

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications

  • "Can-do," upbeat and friendly attitude

  • Professional phone voice and manners

  • Ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

Preferred

  • Experience in a clerical role

  • Excellent typing skills - 30wpm

  • Two years of airline experience

  • Two to four years of clerical/administrative experience

  • Associate's Degree

  • Knowledge of MP2 application

Other

  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

  • This is a FULL-TIME (40 hours per week), ENTRY-LEVEL administrative position

  • Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies

  • Attendance is required at work location

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of video interview MAY be required to obtain an in-person interview

  • In-person interview required to meet job qualifications

  • Position is located in Denver, CO and United Airlines will not offer any type of relocation assistance for this opportunity
