Flight Operations

The Flight Operations team includes aircraft pilots and pilot support.

Job overview and responsibilities

Manages key pilot training projects as needed within the Training Development and AQP departments. Is responsible for operational and quality performance of the assigned projects. Organizes all aspects of the projects including interdepartmental collaboration, resources, schedules and tasks. Understands key flight operations business drivers while working with minimal level of guidance on projects impacting the instructor and pilot groups.

  • Support Projects related to pilot simulator training including documents used during training

  • Reviews and updates flight information and develops documents as required

  • Performs project tracking of training development projects for the organization

  • Manages work according to project priorities set out by training development management

  • Manages effective change control for the AQP and Training Development organization by staying on top of organization and corporate changes

  • Communicates project status upward to the AQP and Training Development Leadership

  • Promotes stakeholder involvement between the groups in AQP and Training Development as well as organizations that support and work with AQP and Training Development on a daily basis

  • Promotes good working relationships between the groups in AQP and Training Development as well as organizations that support and work with AQP and Training Development on a daily basis

  • Ensures quality control of training development projects by continually reviewing project documents and materials

  • Represents training development on technology projects that are being implemented across the organization

Required

  • Two years experience in commercial aviation training and development under Advanced Qualification Program

  • Aircraft dispatch knowledge

  • Working knowledge of ACARS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2-4 years equivalent work experience

  • Up to 25% travel

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Demonstrated project management skills
