Job overview and responsibilities
Assist Finance Supervisor perform day to day accounting and administration functions with priority to monthly payroll preparation and VAT claims. In addition, this role is required to take on general office tasks such as filing, reconciliations, distribute mail etc.
Help to ensure proper internal controls, compliance to local government/ company policies and requirements.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
High School or Secondary School Diploma
Must be fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
Minimum of two years working in accounting
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Must be legally authorized to work in Germany/EU without sponsorship
Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Professional Accounting Certification (kaufmännische Ausbildung)
Wage & Tax Clerk Certification (Lohnbuchhalter)
Working experience in payroll
Basic knowledge of local labor tax laws and regulations
